Homeowner designed 4 bed/3.5bath/3 car dettached garage 2 story 4000 sqft home. Double sided fireplace, hardwood flooring throughout, half brick/half siding exterior. Standing seam metal roof. Cistern water collection from roof run off. Deep overhangs and porches. Minimal vaulting. Slightly above average quality finish out materials- contemporary style, NOT rustic (atypical for rural construction). Looking to buy +/- 3 acres southwest of Fort Worth, TX within the next year. Looking for a builder and estimates for average $/sqft construction costs. Homeowner has Masters in Architecture degree but is not a practicing Architect.
